YouTube Tuesday is a weekly feature where we feature a video that has to do with the Lightning or a Lightning player when they were with another team. We may occasionally feature important moments in the world of hockey.

This week’s YouTube Tuesday video features the young Russian center, Vladislav Namestnikov scoring his first career hat trick. It took place on January 15th, 2016 at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins. His first goal was assisted by Steven Stamkos and Nikita Nesterov, his second goal was assisted by Victor Hedman and Valtteri Filppula on the power play, and his third goal was assisted by Nikita Kucherov in overtime to win the game 5-4.

Namestnikov would finish the year with 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points in 80 games to set new career highs in each category. He was also a career best plus-17. Namestnikov has a lot of potential and area for growth and this likely won’t be the last hat trick we see from the talented forward.
